Coronavirus: Hadji foods center closes

The Director-General of Rwanda Biomedical Centre, Dr. Sabin Nsanzimana, told IGIHE that the man infected with Coronavirus was a driver from outside Rwanda.

Normally people crossing the border are examined when they are about to enter the country and then put in quarantine but when it is found that someone has met or stood in a place, these measurements are taken and the place he passed through is disinfected.

In Rwanda, 431 people have been diagnosed with Coronavirus, while two have died and 283 have recovered from the virus. Of all the infections, the largest number are males as they account for 81.44% of the total number of 351 people.

A foods center in Nyanza District known as kwa Hadji has been closed for two days after a person infected with Coronavirus parked there,
