Ku ya 18 Werurwe 2023, Polisi y'u Rwanda ikorera mu karere ka Kamonyi yerekanye abagabo babiri bafashwe bari mu bucuruzi bw'amababuye y'agaciro bunyuranyije n'amategeko.

Abafashwe ni umugabo w'imyaka 37 wari kumwe na mugenzi we w'imyaka 23 y'amavuko bacukura amabuye yo mu bwoko bwa Gasegereti mu Mudugudu wa Gatwa, Akagari ka Kazirabonde mu Murenge wa Rukoma.

Umuvugizi wa Polisi mu Ntara y'Amajyepfo, Chief Inspector of Police (CIP) Emmanuel Habiyaremye, yavuze ko bafashwe biturutse ku makuru yatanzwe n'ubuyobozi bwa Sosiyete ikora ibikorwa by'ubucukuzi muri icyo kirombe.

Yagize ati: 'Twahawe amakuru ku isaha ya saa Kumi n'ebyiri n'igice n'ubuyobozi bwa Sosiyete ya COMIKA Ltd. ko hari abantu babiri binjiye mu kirombe bakoreramo giherereye mu Kagari ka Kazirabondi baje gucukura amabuye y'agaciro. Polisi yahise ihagera bafatirwa mu cyuho n'ibikoresho gakondo bari bitwaje.'

CIP Habiyaremye yihanangirije abishora mu bikorwa byo gucukura no gucuruza amabuye y'agaciro batabifitiye uruhushya rutangwa n'inzego zibishinzwe ko ari icyaha kandi gihanwa n'itegeko, avuga kandi ko ibikorwa byo kubafata bizakomeza bagashyikirizwa ubutabera.

Itegeko N° 58/2018 ryo ku wa 13/08/2018 rigenga ubucukuzi bw'amabuye y'agaciro na kariyeri Ingingo ya 54 ivuga ko Umuntu wese ushakashaka, ucukura, utunganya,ucuruza amabuye y'agaciro cyangwa kariyeri nta ruhushya, aba akoze icyaha.

Iyo abihamijwe n'urukiko, ahanishwa igifungo kitari munsi y'amezi abiri (2) ariko kitarenze amezi atandatu (6) n'ihazabu y'amafaranga y'u Rwanda atari munsi ya miliyoni imwe (1.000.000 FRW) ariko atarenze miliyoni eshanu (5.000.000 FRW) cyangwa kimwe gusa muri ibyo bihano.

Urukiko rutegeka kandi ubunyagwe bw'amabuye y'agaciro cyangwa kariyeri byafatiriwe biri mu bubiko, bicuruzwa cyangwa bitunganywa nta ruhushya.
